Sugar Plums
Phillips Farms is the largest producer of fresh sugar plums in California. Unlike the more familiar Japanese style plums, these varieties originated in Europe. The Tulare Giant variety was specifically bred for our climate here in Tulare County. They have a distinct oblong shape, and their flesh is incredibly sweet. We have experience in harvesting our sugar plums at the proper maturity to ensure excellent arrivals in export markets, either by air or ocean shipments. Of course, domestic customers will be impressed with this different take on a summertime favorite.
