The bright orange color of persimmons certainly makes it fit right in for the fall season. We offer two distinct varieties. The flatter Fuyu is meant to be eaten fresh and crunchy much like an apple. It has a sweet flavor and an interesting texture. The Hachiya variety is the one that is commonly used in baking for delicious persimmon cookies and other goodies. We harvest our persimmons only when they reach the proper color so our customers can know they are getting the highest quality product.
