Buddha's Hand Fingered Citron
Phillips Farms has searched the globe to find new and interesting fruit that can be grown right here in the San Joaquin Valley. The Buddha's Hand is no exception! Named after its fingered appearance, the Buddha's Hand is unlike any other fruit we have seen. We are one of the few commercial growers of this bizzarre member of the citrus family. Though it does not have any edible flesh, its fragrant aroma can be used as a natural air freshener in your home or the lemon like zest can be used in cooking or to flavor drinks. Plus it makes for a very interesting centerpiece on your table! Each unique piece of fruit is hand washed and placed in boxes with bubble wrap to protect the delicate fingers.
